Fun Fact!: In 1778, the Continental Congress gave George Washington the task of deciding on a service uniform for the Continental Army. He directed soldiers to wear “blue coats with differing facings for the various state troops, artillery, artillery artificers and light dragoons.” Over the next two hundred years, the Army tried various colors, but began issuing uniforms according to Washington’s color design in 2010.

Arrangements are recommended 65 days in advance in order to guarantee entry into The Pentagon during peak tourist season (Feb-Oct.)  30 days in advance otherwise.
