Fun Fact!: Fort McNair, originally named Washington Arsenal, has been an army post for more than 200 years. It is third in length of service, after the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Carlisle Barracks.

Arrangements are recommended 65 days in advance in order to guarantee entry into The Pentagon during peak tourist season (Feb-Oct.)  30 days in advance otherwise.
